Our Director of Research & Policy Beatrice Wayne and her co-author Professor Tracey Raney are nominated for the Canadian Political Science Association’s Jill Vickers Prize for their paper “Harassed Out of Office? Uncovering the ‘Hidden’ Factors Behind Political Exits in Canada from an Intersectional Perspective.” This paper draws on data from the Samara Centre’s MP Exit Interview and SAMbot projects to address gendered and racialized harassment and its effects on parliamentary representation and retention. To mark this occasion we’re resharing a Humans of the House episode - The Best/Worst Place I Ever Worked.
