On July 14th, 2025 our Director of Research and Policy Beatrice Wayne was invited to provide expert testimony before British Columbia’s Special Committee on Democratic and Electoral Reform.
Her recommendations, which drew from the Samara Centre’s research on the lived experience of politics and youth civic engagement, entailed confronting digital information threats, revitalizing the MLA-constituent relationship, and empowering the next generation of citizens.
